Close multiple application windows quickly

When you’re working on your computer, chances are, there’ll be a few application windows opened at the same time. It’s quite normal for most people to have a few applications opened and running when they’re working. For example, the following applications may be opened — Internet Explorer(may even be more than one window), Outlook Express, Microsoft Excel, Windows Media Player etc. The normal way to close any application or window is to click the task on the task bar to activate the window, then click the window’s close(X) button. To quickly close multiple windows: Press and hold down the Ctrl button. Left-click to select all the applications/tasks on the task bar that you want to close. Release the Ctrl button. Right-click on any of the application/task you have chosen just now and choose Close Group from the pop-up menu.
